Tales of Symphonia Question
 

Sometimes in dungeons, forests, ect, I've come across these wierd chests and when i examine them a scene starts where Genis says it's better to leave it alone cause its sealed by a power or something. Is there a point in the game when these chests are explained or is there some trick to opening them? :confused:

You mean the black chests?

You have to go to Flanoir and talk to Abyssion.

I think you might need the Evil Eye from the Toize Valley Mines for him to give you the key to opening them.

i went to Flinoir but couldn't find anyone named Abyssion. I'm pretty much at the end of the game (just made pact w/Origin), so maybe I already missed my chance, or does he show up only if u have the Evil Eye (which I do not!). :disturb:

Nah, I think you can go back to the Mine and look for that spinning block's rubble(The one you had to smash remember?).

It should be below of the boulder trap.

all right. I went back to the mines and got the evil eye, then headed over to Flanoir but Abyssion still wasn't anywhere. By the way, is it actually worth the trouble to get everyone's devil arms. The best weapon I have for Lloyd is the one u get for beating the third sword dancer in Iselia Forest (that guy wasn't so hard, i beat him at level 68).

Well, after that sidequest they become the best weapons(Depending on how many kills the character has I think).

Odd, Abyssion should be in front of a house in the first part of Flanoir.

at what point in the game did u do this quest thing?

Hmm, got the quest when I first got the Rheairds and went over to Flanoir(And had the Evil Eye).

However, I didn't work on the quest till near the end of the game.
