GTA4 and Vice City Stories announced

Well, there wasn't a thread about the new announcements, so yeah..discuss.

I'm more interested in doing ridiculous stuff with better graphics and physics with GTA4..as I've gotten bored with missions and such with GTA games and have more fun fooling around with the game.

I still have yet to play Liberty City Stories, but my first thought with VC Stories was "San Andreas Stories announcement coming in 3...2...1..."

Yeah I saw the article on the PSFantasy's main site. Kinda arrogant of their offical page though: Pre-order now to avoid disappointment. :sarcasm: But I guess my date of the release of the PS3 is wrong since their site says October 16 for the release of the game.

I agree, messing around with the civilians, getting the cops on your trail, or committing suicide are a little more fun than the main missions, but I hope they will provide some great missions in GTA4...preferably less useless things like the crate mission in GTA: SA.

Does anyone know where it'll take place for sure? I've read that it might be London or it might be Hawaii. I, for one, hope it's London...Hawaii is just way too boring, IMO, plus I think it'll be too similar to VC.

GTA4 is coming out October 16, 2007, not 2006 - who would preorder a game going to be released 1 year and a half later? :)

I still like the main missions in SA, I mean you can concentrate on the main storyline and when you're stuck you can fool around or get cash,buy stuff, steal cars, tune cars etc. That's the whole appeal of the series to me. Plus SA had the best mission ever IMO with the russian motorchase with the truck crashing through the freeway, that was one big rush.
So please Rockstar do not change the structure too much just keep making it way bigger with more freedom...know what??? Make it global or at least nationwide...VC one city, SA three-city area, VI nationwide???
