Hell yeah, Welcome to the jungle is my fave (and has been sÃ*nce '87). The rest of the songs on Radio X are also great. I mainly listen to that station and...ummm the one, where Axl Rose is talking? Can't remember the name (DST or whatever).

Ive got it today!! It`s awsome.. very cool, although the grafics seems alittle poor than Vice City`s, and I didn`t find problems with the camera (so far), CJ is cool, the Radio songs all are cool too.. lool (welcome to the jungle ;) ).

Got a really useless question, not really important...but, if you haven't gotten past the parts of the story to meet Cesar's cousin up in Red County and further on, then don't read the spoiler: Spoiler: show I tried swimming across the channel to get to Las Venturas and I made it pretty far around it (even with the bothersome 4 star warrant :P). I think the Las Venturas area looks really nice...very detailed and very similar to the real thing! I couldn't see much because cops were all over me, but I saw that Flamingo hotel, Pirates hotel, the Luxor, the Four Dragons Casino (I think this one is fake?), and I think I saw something close to the MGM Grand, but I could be wrong. There were a lot of Elvis impersonators walking and driving around. Right now, I'm in San Fierro (sp?) and doing some missions with Truth and Zero. Does anyone know if it's required to buy Zero's property right at that moment or can you buy it later? Also, how many landmark screenshots/photos has everyone taken? I only have 3: Pier 69, City Hall, and Aspira Country Club (long way to go -_-;;; ). Were there any famous landmarks where CJ started out? (At his home?) |
SPOILER******************************************* ************************************************** ***********
Sorry cant help you not that far, but I need some, My last mission the party now I’ve got none left, do I have to take all the territories over do proceed I got most of them just 3 purple and orange, do I need to take over all them or just the ballas? |
I thought you needed to get all the sections too dan but not really
I captured just three sections and then I realized I forgot to do CJ's mission where you have to race with a low rider....itll progress into a smokey mission and so on so on, in other words capturing the places arent needed after the OG party....you need to make sure you do everyone elses missions to proceed |
***SPOILER WARNING***
Meryl, about that spoiler you posted in black. At the beginning of GTA III, Catalina shoots her boyfriend (The mute guy) in the shoulder leaving him at the Liberty City bank crime scene to take the fall. She betrays him, but in the intro they are actually in a relationship. Later, when they meet, he's naturally a little P.O'd at her, so no lovey-dovey stuff. ;) Listen to Catalina's words in the intro, you can tell they were kinda dating. |
Ya I Made Thread About That...:(

As for what happens next, I don't quite remember what happened after the party...I think I remember that *POSSIBLE SPOILER* Sweet has missions now to do, one which involves recruiting a gang and taking revenge on the Ballas and the other is to meet at Sweet's house where Sweet is talking about a meeting and how he's going to be the one representing the Grove Street family. Then, you have that mission. After that mission (and maybe a day later), a new mission called "Green Sabre" invovles Sweet giving you a call and saying something about a situation occuring near Muholland Drive and how him and some guys are gonna check it out. Then, Cesar will give you a call and tell you to go find him right away. After all this, then the story will progress even further and you'll move on to the next counties. I think this is what it is, I hope it helps somewhat. Quote:
Progressing further into the game, it's getting better, but I do have to b*tch about one thing: all that driving to go back and forth between San Fierro, Angel Pike (or Pines, I forgot) and Los Santos...a pain in the ass. Especially when you get to the Catalina missions in between the other missions, like The Truth...holy cow. Sure...there are freeways/highways which do help in some ways, but it's still a very long drive back and forth. And going to the airport to fly in a plane (only when you get to San Fierro)is totally useless unless you want to spend $500 back and forth each time. Though I have to admit, jumping out the plane is hilarious, I died one time because I didn't open up my parachute in time, lol. |

From what I heard you get the pilot licence from las venturas desert. There is a video on fileplanet (I cant find it) which shows you getting into a air port without the licence and getting into a dodo, I did but the dodo is still not all easy to fly maybe I need lessons to get better. Another question sorry  Where can I find the parachute? |
Without giving too much away about the plot, eventually you'll be asked to buy the abandoned airstrip in the Las Venturas desert. Once you do, a mission will be available there, that makes you take flying lessons. After about five or six, you'll get your license. The parachute comes as standard in every plane, you don't need to buy it elsewhere.
Note, that some planes are easier to fly than others. The planes that you take your lessons in are a lot harder to fly than most, so don't despair about flying. |
Second impressions
OK, my first impression of GTA after a couple of missions I didn’t like it as much as GTA3 or GTA VC, but now I’ve done Los santos, Country missions now on San Fierro Ive just been sucked in and amazed, the turn and twists to it all and gameplay mixed with storylines are really good.
My highlights so far- Jumping of mount chillad then parachuting for the first time. Family reunion mission. Just entering San Fierro and seeing totally different style city, (GTA 3 and VC cities were all similar to me) It also just put Vice city to the bottom by how many things you can do, Vice city you know what exactly to do when and next most of the time, In San Andreas there is so much stuff to do you cant keep up or decide what to do next. Voice acting is spot on, At first I thought CJ would be a normal ghetto voice but Young Malay does a excellent job, every time you get a cut scene with Samuel Jackson voicing the crooked cop its like a movie... just A few things what getting this game rolling for me. |
I liked the only business mission... so much action :D
|
Damn you guys are far..Im in san feirro or w/e..on this stupid RC Mission airplane..I hate the RC missions why must rockstar torment me with it...and the other mission im on is i have to go to the pimp guy and get a phone number..
