Unfortunately, the episodes on TV are edited and are being played over from the beginning. So, they're only showing episodes 1-20 as of right now.

thanks for the info meryl. It doesn't matter about the episodes 1-20 for me since i've only seen 2 so far:( The good news is i've been able to download a lot of stuff off of kazaa so my kenshin experiance is growing

The rumor out right now is that the first story arc will be out on box set by the end of the Summer...but I can't remember where I heard that. Just don't get your hopes up yet...I wish Media Blaster's would hurry up with the box, though :mad:

I was at media play the other day and I happened to see a dvd that was called something like kenshin the movie. I also saw the two OVA's that were mentioned earlier in this thread. Does anyone know about the kenshin the movie one?

I'm so glad it finally made it here...

But I'm still waiting to have some serious cash and buy the whole TV series.

Also, do as Meryl-chan said, don't be a *** like me, who watched the 6 OVA's without watching the series first /)_(\

The Kenshin movie is just a separate story that has nothing to do with the TV series or OVA. It's been a long time since I've seen it, so I don't remember too much of what the plot was. :heh: I believe a man from Kenshin's past came back to take revenge(?) or something like that. Someone else might be able to help you out. :)

Sadly, the movie was kinda bad. I don't even remember what it was about because I could barely pay attention to it. Movies that are based off series' usually suck, because you don't know the characters abilities or anything...

Movies are usually released after a TV series or during the run of a TV series. I'm sure many expect for one to have already seen the TV series/OVA and get in touch with the characters, abilities, etc. before watching the movie. :)

Is there a major difference between the episodes of kenshin they show on t.v. and the unedited ones?

You see, in the edited version [in this case, the TV version], any part considered unsuitable for a younger audience, is cut or edited. In other words, any [for any anime on TV] sexual scenes, overly vulgar dialogue, and excessively gory anime is most likely to get cut out.

So in turn, lets say you have a ninja [in this case, me, of course] cut through the head of someone like Digimortal, no blood would come out ! XD

The major difference is that you aren't getting the total product, meaning that you're only viewing seems "proper". I suppose this is okay since you're watching them through television, but in some instances, even the DVD versions are edited, and that's just wrong.

And for a side note: episode 14 was completely cut out off the Kenshin TV series on CN.

I don't like things edited. I'd wish they'd bring Kenshin to adult swim( Not sure if I already said this if so, then ignore). There's really no need for futurama to be on adult swim IMO. Yes, it is a great show but i'd rather see some more anime.

i have the movie on DvD its pretty tight i like it. i highly prefer u to watch it in japenese but the american version it kinda reeks:ghost: Sano and Yahiko r my fav charactes!;)

OR you can d/l it on KAAZAA:cool:
