Just updated the link to our internal news article; I still don't know if SCE is going to offer HDD compatibility for the new model; I sent an e-mail to our U.S. contact, and we will update the article as soon as possible. The only announced peripherals are the Multitap and the Vertical Stand.

Oh man, that is so friggin' awesome! My sister will combust when I tell her though...since she just got her new JP PS2, she could've waited a little longer and got this sleek and smaller version instead. Oh man...:P

But, I love this thinner version! It's such a great idea, especially for people who have no space whatsoever. :D

BTW Vic, I love your sig.!

It really is small. This is probably Sony's best idea in a long time. j/k  But, all silliness aside, this is a great idea and it's really terrific being able to carry it back and forth between places if you want to travel or something. I can't get over it...I just love it so much.

yea, most likely.

Those DRE's are sometimes caused by dust particles that settle inside, i had to clean the inside of my ps2 about 3 months ago.

Wow, expect for a crapload of screens to be released for it.

When I get a new car I seriously am going to buy and and stick it in the dash, or back seat. I was thinking about doing it before but I was worrying about heating issues with the PS2.

Just have some new information (maybe it's new, maybe not). The PStwo is supposed to have a flip-top lid to insert the games. I scanned a picture from the December issue of PSM magazine:

PStwo (http://img98.exs.cx/img98/5335/PStwo.jpg)

That's pretty awesome. :D

In the case of the new PS2, does smaller equal better. The answer is yes. It looks so small and "cute". lol
