Ah more reason for me to hate Gamecube owners.

I think I agree on the fact it needs more polish, some of backgrounds look worse than MGS2, though I may be seeing things.

i dont know, it looks like its worst the MGS2, and it has nothing to do about beeing a pic, cose, mgs2 had greater pics then those shown in this gamecube version.

ps: im a gamecube lover and i just hope it gets better then mgs2.

As of right now I am unknowing of the release date of this title but I sure hope its at least another couple of months because even though Snake looks better than MGS2 everything else is needing a bit of a touch up. The backgorunds are pretty basic but if this improves before the release date this may be the swaying factor for my purchase of a GameCube.

I noticed lots of jaggies, anti-aliasing badly needs to be added. No self-shadowing either?! Hideo... you dissapoint me. ;)

If you watch the developer interview at IGN, he quotes that they are doing self shadowing. Atleast thats what I caught from it.
