View Full Version : How Do You Make Banners?

Im interested in making my own banners using Flash 5. I just dont know how to get started. Im not really graphics smart but Im willing to try. Can any one help me out. Ive seen some of the banners you guys make and there nice. Thanks.

I don't know about using flash 5 i usually use my adobe photoshop 6.0

Nobody here's using Flash 5 for banners. Most of people are using Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

I guess I better download Adobe Photoshop 6.0 on the double.

Photoshop 6 is a very good program, especially for images editing. It's not easy to use, especially for beginners, but you can do a lot of things with it ;)

I think you can get a demo of it at download.com,but to get the full version will cost a little

I think in Demo version some options are disabled...

Yeah, save and print are disabled, but there are ways to get around it... which I won't discuss here. ;)

BTW, if you're just starting to make banners or whatever, Flash can be a little complicated, stick with PS 6 or PSP

Yes, Flash is very complicated for a beginner, even if there are some excellent tutorials around. I don't think you need it for making a decent banner ;)

How much of a difference is there between Photoshop 6.0 and flash 5?

Flash does animation as well, but it's very complicated to use, especially for begginers.

LOL yea flash 5 is nuts its hard to comprehend but im workin on it and i got adobe photoshop 6.0 and paint shop pro 7.0 hehehehe man im good.
