I don't think mine is animated :O

edit: uggh
edit2: ok its fixed now, it animates but is jaggedy. But with the space limit I can't make it into anything better, as the anti-aliasing creates big problem :grr:
edit3: the sword doesn't disappear now, and I've tried to put in a bit more continuity. doesn't look fantasic I know...

Is the original too big? I guess it is because you wouldn't have asked if it wasn't. The altered one looks alright atleast it moves, but it's what Suzuki thinks that counts.

I've tried to keep the details, so I've just clipped the dimensions - he's lost a bit of his legs, but It still looks about as good, right?

I'm really off topic but I was wondering...

anyone here use paintshop pro 7 or less? I really want to know how to put transparency onto an image! For example like the Halo avatar up there, how would you go about making the white background into a transparent background without cropping out the image onto a new, transparent layer.

Sorry if that sounded like jibberish.

I would probably duplicate the layer, and delete the original (so that I'm not working with a locked layer) and then use the magic wand tool (on the white area) and hit delete. Not sure that that is the best way, as its probably possible by changing white for the transparent colour in the pallete... but that would probably make everything that is white transparent, which I wouldn't want.

i can help you with this. for that avatar save it to your computer. then go to user cp......then user option's. go down and it will say change avatar. click on that then go down where it says you can upload your avatar click on upload and look for the avatar you saved to your computer.

The restriction is 64x64 but there is also a byte restriction as well, so if your avatar goes over that as well then it won’t except it.

What format have you saved your avatar in?
Maybe by changing the format you have saved your avatar as might help.

Dan, that avatar is 64X64, and the byte size is below the limit, so it should work.

EDIT-Sorry, the_artist pointed out it was too big, my bad, use her new pic, its small enough

Try again, if it doesnt work, please tell what it says.

The avatar was uploaded as a .jpg file, so make sure you saved it as a .jpg and not some other format when you tried to upload it.
I think Bitmaps are acceptable too, but I think JPEG's are the best format.

my avatar is only 6kb... that one is 12kb, and I believe that is over the limit... so try this one instead :) -
