First off, I didnt know where to put this thread so dont get mad, just move it to where it needs to be if u have to. I am very confused about the ps2 internet adaptor. I know that first u must buy the adaptor. U then follow the instructions and install it into the back of yur ps2. I have a 56K dial up internet connection, so does this mean that i will have to pay monthly or yearly fees to play online? Can someone please explain the entire process of playing ps2 online and clear things up for me? thank u so much. :phew:

I know that cable/dsl.. but i thought that 56k modem was dialing into the ps2 servers... blah blah blah, and i didnt think u had to pay a monthly fee. I think paying for the adaptor and the game its self is enough..

No monthly fees unless it is a game like everquest or FFXI.Other than that its free.

So u just hook the adaptor up to the phone line and use the internet connection that u already have?
