Need Help plz

New PS2 user, slow on this, but i was tryin to runa bad copy of Madden 2002 for maybe an hour... lots of scatches, bumped it, now it seems like on some games, newly bought, run slow for a dew seconds every couple minutes, running into a low fps, i dont know if this is just becuase some of the games i bought are bigger (NCAA March Madness 2003 and Socom) or if i ruined the ps2 tryin to run that madden, and if it could be fixed by me. you cant ruin your ps2 by trying to run a bad game. most likely, you are just running larger games. if the disk is scratched up and wont run right, it is just because the laser isnt reading it right. there is a chance that if the disk had dirt or dust on it, that the laser is dirty, and you would have to buy a can of compressed air, or a cd player cleaner. if the games still run slow after cleaning it, then it is just because they are bigger games.
