Does anybody know the release date of Metal Gear: Substance on the Playstation 2 in the UK.

Buddy, I am not too sure about that, Konami just revealed the "Japanese" release which is Dec 19th 2002. And the North America release on the Ps2 is "April" 2003 (Havn't confirmed any date yet), so expect the game to head towards UK in the summer of 2003. Lets see what happens.

Ok "Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance" for the PS2 in the US will be released on 3rd Jan 2003. Thats what I found out. Now for UK, I am guessing in April...... So its sooner then we thought we'd get it. :)

mgs substance is out in march 2003 for the xbox dont know about the ps2, damn ps2 should of got it first, playstation is the home of mgs, not the xbox:mad:

its out of our control, MS payed exclusive rights to port the game to xbox and released first to the xbox.:mad:

i know its sucks, but hey will have the game by January along with some other great games coming on january like the getaway and devil may cry 2. :)

Ok Japan gets Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance on Ps2 on the 19th of December. Damn, I wish that was the US release. Oh well.............!

Damn, I just found out the latest date of "Substance" release in US. and its March 5th!.....DAMN, that looks like a little too far away..... I am sad now. :(

im getting a xbox to play this game well and others, but its out in the uk in march on the xbox! not ps2:(

I will be getting an Xbox, in two weeks time, but I dont think I'll buy Substance for it..........as I heard alot of crappy things about it. I can wait for Metal Gear, a GOOD Metal Gear on Ps2.

i want substance for my ps2 aswell, but it sounds along w8, first i think i will rent first for my xbox, well i need a xbox first. planning on getting one for christmas, or early january.
