Diaz mission help please

Quick question for the veterans. I am stuck on "the fastest boat' mission that you get from Diaz. I kill all of the dudes in the fenced in area but the door won't open so I can get in there and hit the switch to lower the boat. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Anyone that got past this mission, was the big door open for you?
This is pissing me off, it is the only mission I can do so I am screwed until I can figure it out.

I found this mission pretty easy.. just walk down the corridor on the side of the large warehouse building, guns blazing. After you've taken out at least enough gangbangers so they aren't shooting at you you walk into the warehouse and blast the workers who rush at you armed with hammers. Then step into the pink marker to drop the boat.

The problem might be that you haven't actually gotten close enough to the boat to have the "now find the switch to lower the boat" prompt come up. Are you using the guide or somethin'?

Thats the weird thing, I kill all of the guys AND I get the cutscene that says to find the switch, but the warehouse door(s) are not open and I can see the legs of guys in there underneath the door. I can even waste them with the flamethrower through the door. Maybe it's a glitch? I have reloaded and tried everything and the door won't open for me. Weird

Really..........Is it a glitch then? Any known fixes? It makes me mad because there are no other missions I can do.

only thing I can think of is to take it back in exange for anouther non defective copy when i bought my first one it was scartched that could be anouther reason why its messed up on that part cause after i exchanged mine for anouther i havent had ne probs since

I called EB and they told me to bring it in and they would exchange it, I looked and there were no scratches on the disc. I e-mailed Rockstar to let them know several people have this problem. I hope it is not a widespread thing though.

Well, I really just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. Since I have found out it happened to a few other people then yes I will be getting a new copy. Now if this happens with the next copy then................I don't even want to think about what I will do!!!:frust:
