how many hidden packages have you found in vice city?

hey im just curious how many hidden package's people found in vice city. i only got 11.....it suck's these sucker's can be hard to find oh well at least i have free armor.

tell me what do you get when you get 30 package's? i know 10 give's you armor. 20 gives you a chainsaw but what does 30 give you?

30 will give you the Python (very effective..one shot kills)
heres what else you get if you want to know...
40 - Flame Thrower
50 - Laser Scope Sniper Rifle
60 - MiniGun (Gattling Gun)
70 - Rocket Launcher
80 - Sea Sparrow
90 - Rhino
100 - Ultimate Secret Vehicle

The last two are located at the Fort Baxter Air Base.

21 some of these are a pain to find. There are a few on roofs that I can't get to yet. Maybe when I have a heli.

OK, its days end and I only have 69 packages!!! (theres always tomorrow) Anyway as for the attack helicopter, when I was doing the final mission for the Colonel, the final helicopter that attacked the boat was an Apache Helicopter! So it just may be the secret vehicle at 100 packages. Hopefully soon we fins out.

I have 92 packages! I was robbed of the Sea Sparrow however! (80 packages places it on the mansion helipad) The only heli up there is the Maverick!! I cant find the Sea Sparrow anywhere.

I just got 60. The minigun is....wow....destructive :) I've missed a package somewhere on the first island an now I have to go hunt each place to try and find it. :disgust:

i have the guide for vice city i just use it to find hidden package's and unigue stunt jump's etc. but the first one was in the dock's but i couldnt get to it so i went around looking for others. now im going to be hunting around alot.....but i will be up looking for them and i will use the greatest invention known to man!....coffee:laugh:

Me too! I got the 80th package and got the message saying the Sea Sparrow had neen delivered to the mansion. But all thats there is a Maverick. I blew it up with the RL hoping that the SS would spawn in its place.....but guess what? Another Maverick! :mad:

hehehehehe no im not laughing at you but i found it funny you blew it up with the rocket launcher. and yes sleazy im easily amused....but is the sea sparrow like a plane thats in the water or on a helipad? if it's water i would go to the film studio and check around back and maybe they put it there.....who know's.

Yes the secret vehicle is the Hunter attack helicopter. It shoots missiles and has a heavy machine gun, and you can do vigilante missions with it. BUT! It is located at the Air Force base, and they army will open fire with M-16's the second they spot you. I came in on a Maverick (the Sea Sparrow still remains unfound) and bolted to the Hunter. I had full heath and armor and made it out alive with 48 health :laugh: I took it back to the mansion and saved my game. Whether or not it stays remains to be seen.

EDIT - Do you get a cash bonus as well? I wasn't paying attention. I know that I just bought the Malibu and my funds were quite low, so I started my package quest to kill time while my other business' generate cash. Next thing I know I have $130,000. Someone want to confrim this suspicion?

Not if you enter the flying cheat 1st , so ya can fly to get them! Just the same way i did in GTA 3

I got all 100 hidden packages before i opened up the 2nd city ( STAUNTON)

Even the one on top of the Bidge between Shoreside & Staunton!
I flew up ther in a tank , after i landed it (after a few attempts) , i hopped on top of the tank then , hopped over to the package ! <Not as easy as it sounds !:ghost:

But i got them all in the end ! Nnyyes

i read thru some of the responses and i didnt see the answer to a question that was asked, so i'll answer it. i believe collecting 100 packages gives you the HUNTER, but i'm not 100% positive, that's just off the top of my head, if you go to a site like gamefaqs.com , it will tell you. i've read it there before.
that's the only reason why i'm going to collect all 100 packages, to have a helicopter with guns and missiles. it really sounds like a lot of fun.

after collecting 100 hidden packages it gives u a hunter and when u do "keep your friends close" (last mission) it gives u one too.:cool:
