Anyone else anti Vice City?

I am real short on money, and saving for 8Mile Soundtrack (Which I'll get tomorrow) and for the 8Mile movie (8th Nov), and MGS2D.

All the GTA's rock... Ive had ever one...and GTA3 was the sh*t..
and I just got GTAVC and it is just as good... so Im not anti VC...

Its not that I think the game is bad or does it have anything to do with the other games in the series. I just don't find the game all that exciting that I need to go stand in line on the first day to get it. Its going to be a greatest hits title at some point, ill probably get it then, if not I have many other online games I can pick up in the future that will give me more then enough time on my Ps2

I'm not that interested either. I mean, if I'll get the chance to buy the game later, it's ok, but I have not preordered it, I'm not planning to get within the next few days. It's something I don't usually do neither for games I love. I'm a patient person :laugh:

i think its a little weird that now the game is out everybody is turning against it. it seemed that almost everybody on here wud buy it but now its lookin a bit sad. im not gettin at anybody i was just sayin.

i for one will be getting it when it comes next thursday (well thats when it will be at my house as i pre ordered it)

Where do you see all these people turning against it? I don't see this happening Daniel. If there's someone who's not that excited about it, it's nothing absurd or weird. They simply express opinions, and their opinion is that they're not crazy for this game.

Maybe some people were just curious for the the whole "GTA phenomenon" but not so fond of the games. BTW, I'm sure this game will beat any other record among the best selling ones for consoles.

Just to let you know I have stated from the start that I won't get it, so I am not jumping on the band wagon or whatever. I blieve there is a post about this i made about 3 weeks ago

You're entitled to your opinion, guys, but you're missing out.

I can honestly say that Vice City is one of the best games I have ever played.. I think it's gonna be a defining game for the PS2, much the same way that Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid were for the PSOne. It deserved every perfect 10 it got from EGM and other magazines.

I don't have the game, because I'm from Europe and I'll have to wait more to get it, and I don't know if I'll buy it the same day of the release, but I don't think here someone is blaming others just because they're not in a rush to get their copies. Everyone should get the games they're absolutely interested in first, then the others. If someone chooses to get something else instead, because GTA is not their thing, it's good for them. It would be worse getting it because everyone else is doing it and not for a personal choice. I mean, I don't think it would be easy to get a copy of this game without a preorder either :laugh:
