About the opening scene being for MGS1 fans is something to do with the fact that you can't be sure if it's Snake under the raincoat (as you could assume he dies from FOX DIE) and the music builds up and when the raincoat comes off you still can't see if it's Snake as he's in stealth and you don't see it's him until he lands on the tanker

I think it was called MGS Special missions over here in the UK, but I can't excactly remember?

As for the second DVD which came with MGS2 I haven't let watched it because there's quite a few spoilers in it, so I'm going to wait till I've completed MGS2 first before checking it out :)

The extra character scene edit is really funny. You can change certain cut-scenes in the game (about 9) and have, for example, the snake from the original PS1 version fight rose (raidens bird) in a mock up of the final fight scene.:laugh:
