It was hard to choose between Grand Theft Auto3 and Metal Gear Solid but i have to go with longivity (any such word?) and GTA3 wins hands down but MGS is still an awesome game.

syphon filter was ok, i really didnt like 3 though, but it still has its old fun of running and gunning. GTA3 has the most replay value out of all the games, and then SoE is coming out soon and it looks sweet! ah man..i cant wait...Feb 5th...

I voted for MGS, since it is the bets hands down game there ever was, and ever will be for it's age.... not even psrt 2 comes close, well yea it does, but I enjoyed playing as snake a bit more than raiden... :D

Ure Kidding Me Sleazy, Right?.? Syphon Was A Good Game But In Noway BETTER Then MGS! I Mean ..... I Can Die Laughing On That Joke!-! Everybody Knows They Tried Their Best To Make MGS Clone!.! It Was A Great Game I Love It. But No Way Better Then MGS! (My Opinion)

Reasons why I liked SF better than MGS
1. Controls were better
2. Better weapons. (Night vision sniper rifle!)
3. Less cheese in the plot. (I like that line at the end "choose life and live" :rolleyes: )
4. SF wasn't overhyped.
5. MGS had way too many movies.

But these are MY reasons.

syphon filter was just more, i dunno, more of a shoot em up, and MGS had more of an RPG form to it, thats probably why more people prefer SF. But, you notice SF series has kinda went down the poo hole...3 how you say, sucked lol..

I'd Say Jak And Daxtar Is More Of A Platform Game, Which Comes In The Catergory Of... Crash, Spyro, etc. Thats Why It Wasn't On That. I Know They All Are Adventure Games. But I'd Say More Of Platform Type

I loved Monkey Island, MGS and Shadow of Destiny (or Shadow of Memories).

While didn't like DMC very much, and also GTA3, because I prefer games with a story and a content.

Nah it's ok. It was a negative comment about MGS2. The game is good, I'll give it that. Just not great in my eyes. I would much prefer a new Syphon Filter game. More action and you still have stealth missions too. MGS2 had lots of things I loved, but also lots that I hated too. I've never yelled "Oh will you shut up!" during a game before.
