When i beat Evrae there is no save sphere and then your pitted against loadsa fiends with machina and it really pisses me off because i keep on dieing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use some healing items...or go back and level some more

Equip armor that protects against Fire if possible. If not, do what S4H said.
