seriously in MGS2 he set's bombs everywhere for you to disarm and then sets more and more so you have to keep him nutralized so he can't set any more but it's impossible though.

Wtf ?!? Fatman isn't in Metal Gear Solid 1 !

He's actually quite easy... just shoot him a couple of times, until he falls. Then, you go up to him and you wait until he tried to get up and you shoot him in his freakin' head !

To disarm the bombs he sets, just use your radar to find them and then use your coolant on them... everythin' will be alright ! ;)

fatman's one annoying boss in mgs2... he moves really fast cos of the rollerblades but very often he'll trip over and that's the time when you can shoot him in the head (his most vulnerable part). but first, deactivate all the bombs he'll plant. if you have claymores, plant it in places where fatman will most probably skate, then when he falls down, shoot him in the head.
but the best way to kill him, (well, at least for me), is to stand where you can see all the crates in the helipad. wait for fatman tpo appear (don't run after him, it's kinda frustrating) then shoot, just shoot, don't use the first person view. you'll know that he's hit when he squeals. then fatman will stop in his track, when he stops, use the first person view, then shoot him in the head. in no time, fatman will die! again, you don't have to run after him.

That was a freaking easy boss..... I beated him in the first try. Actually I think I beated every boss in the very first try, they were all too easy, excepting the Metal Gear Rays which took me like 2 or 3 trials to finally beat them.
